Career Opportunities

Employment opportunities are very good for Massage Therapist. There are a variety of choices in career environments such as: Opening your own practice, Chiropractic office, Salons, Spas and Health clubs, etc. The work hours are flexible.

Program Design

The objective of the Massage Therapy program is to provide the proper training in which students can acquire satisfactory skills and demonstrate competency in massage therapy procedures.  These competencies include but are not limited to: the understanding of muscles and joints and their movements, types of tissue pathologies, factors that predispose an athlete to injury, medical terminology, indications and contraindications of massage, practice set-up and how to run a business, therapeutic touch, and the different massage techniques.
